My why

I didn't choose childcare, it chose me! For years I was unhappy working and didn't know why. I would just go from job to job hoping to find my happy. One day the light bulb went off and I realized I didn't know my purpose in life and so the journey began. I went from working in Insurance to becoming a Nurse Assistant. As a nurse assistant I loved caring for people, but there was something about caring for children that captured my heart. Finally when I learned I was no longer able to conceive children I went to God even more to know why and help me through it. I went back to the very beginning. From a little girl I would play school with my siblings, my dolls, and the pet dog. Always dressing up and teaching. I gave birth to my first son at 18 years. He was 32 weeks premature diagnosed with Sleep Apnea and Asthma. Caring for him with support came natural. 5 years later I would give birth again to another son, but this time at 28 weeks. He was born with tachycardia and many other medical issues that required therapy. Again caring for him came natural. My desire to care for, understand, teach, and relate to children came natural. I wouldn't know my purpose for years later. I wasn't able to have more children due to medical conditions. God took me back to the beginning to show me, you will be mother to many. I have a greater calling for your life! I started in my home as a family/neighbor provider in 2009 and in 2013 fear was no more I became a Licensed child Care Provider. My vision was so clear. Fast Forward to now, Heavenly Made Creations, LLC  Learning Tree is a Family Group Star 4 Nationally Accredited Program. I advocate for Early Childhood Education, I advocate for Early Childhood Educators, and most of all I advocate for the families in my community!

With so many things happening to children away from home today, this question can remain in a parent's thoughts. People say there is no such things as perfection. I strive for perfection. I focus on excellence. I have an unexplained joy with every smile and sigh of relief I see each day. We may not be a fit for every child, but we are a fit for Heavenly Made Creations making children successful in this changing world!
